Problem with track signage

I took this screenshot from atop the windmills at Zolder, around Lucien Bianchibocht looking down the straight to the Kleine chicane:

What on Earth has happened? Why are these giagantic "Pit Show" signs floating in the sky? They wiggle to and fro like flags or something too... It didn't used to be like this... I'm sure it's got to be a different mod I've installed that has screwed with some shared resource, because I've seen something very similar at Sebring recently. I gaffed it off as 'my copy of Sebring is just screwy', but now I'm thinking there's a bigger problem at work here... any help?

sometimes files get corrupted, this maybe the case for you with the files in
"...\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\objects3D\"

do a steam-verification for AC:

Hi guise, please take a minute to read my issue I mistakenly overwrote the GUID file and the rest of the content in the sfx folder, and now most of my cars have no sound. Can you guys give me a vanilla sfx folder? Please help me I'm desperate. Thanks in advance.

Verification sounds like the right thing to do, but I have lots of mods installed - will it affect any cars or tracks that I've added which did not come with the game?
