F1 2010 [PS3] Use G25 with F1 2010 without the shifter

Hi all,

I'm trying to use my logitech G25 wheel playing F1 2010, but without the shifter.
2 reasons : I'm not using the gearshift, and if mounted on my wheel stand pro, it is vibrating a lot whenever I'd drive on a curb.

Problem is I can't navigate through the menus with just the wheel, and if I use a ps3 pad either set to player 1 or 2 the wheel doesnt work during my drive.

Any idea ? (in Gran Turismo I can have the wheel set to player 1 and the pad set to player 2 and it works).

Is this possible? My shifter buttons are not working so if somebody knows if this possible please assist! thanks!
