Hi all,

because there are some changes regarding my real life, the time I can spend for stracker and ptracker development will be limited in the future. I still plan to release compatibility updates, but probably I won't be able to spend much time for feature development.

Thinking about this situation, I came to the conclusion that it might be time to open up the source code of the apps, so other people might jump in and help with the further development. I was hesitating a long time before doing this, and the main reasons were concerns about incompatible forks of stracker and ptracker. Hopefully forks are not going to happen for the sake of all ptracker and stracker users. The source code is available under the terms of the General Public License (GPLv3).

1. Which windows version are you using?
2. Did you upgrade from windows 7/8 to windows 10? -> I remember there are some problems with the migrated users.
3. How did you install ptracker (installer / manual)? Did you get any errors during installation?
4. Can you right click on the ptracker.exe file (located under apps/python/ptracker/dist) and check if the "Run as administrator" setting is checked?

Hmm. This sounds like the upgrade problem then. I don't know if it's feasible for you, but maybe you can create a new user and check if it works with the new user. I think we never got a solution working with the migrated user (there are some subtle things going on nobody understood....)

You mean a new user in Assetto Corsa or In Windows?
I Try to turn off antivirus and doesn't work either. These not a way to put a folder administrator or something like this?

Ok I try whit Administrator user and it works! The program work on PC!
The only thing we need to find out it is why it does not when I logged whit my account.
Im the only one using my PC.

For those that got [WinError 740] The requested operation requires elevation.

1 : go to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\apps\python\ptracker\dist
Right click on the ptracker EXE. under Comptability, check the run as administrator case and click ok.

2 : go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa
Right click on AssettoCorsa EXE. Under Comptability, click on change settings for all users button.
not the case in the first menu. So check the case run run this program as administrator in the new windows.

3 : If this not working : Type : `` uac `` in windows search bar.
Put the bar to `` never notify me when ``

Your done!

I think you will need only the two first steps, but I did the last one just to be sure!

Split delta is the comparison between your fastest valid lap's split times and your current lap's split times. Normally there are 2 or 3 intermediate points on the track called split points where this timing is taken.

All delta comparisons are normally against your fastest valid lap.

Some of then yes. I change the tire icons to letters as S, M etc etc with a circule background but i keep the name files. Only my tires is showed. The tires of others pilots is show me ? that is the symbol that i associate to the tire_unkonwn.png

I asked because at the sTracker page drivers without a running ptracker are listed with unknown tires as well. The AC server API doesn´t give this info imho.

In the experimental version this is working now for all drivers (only ptracker, not stracker). The API for that was missing until a recent AC update.
