F1 2016 Q: Reducing Lap Time, Shanghai

Hi all,

I'm 90% on race line and not coming off the track but can't seen to beat 1min 42sec on the Shanghai track. My time trial time often gets me 1st place but in the Career Mode (Easy AI) qualify I get far worse.

Any tips on reducing the time? I see the best times are around 1.34

Go look at the data from your track acclimitisation, because obviously you are doing a lot of things below average to get that slow of a laptime, probably you are losing alot in turn 1, and the fast chicane turn 6 and 7 i believe.. The data from the track acclimitisation program will tell you where you go below average./average/optimal through a corner. And remember the racing line isn't the only "right" line to drive.
