Question regarding Race Seat Simulators

Hey guys! I don't know much about sim racing hardware, but I was hoping you can answer my questions:
  1. What are all of the different brands of race seat, gaming rig, and simulation type setups?
  2. Do you own such hardware yourself? Which, and Why have you chosen this particular one?
  3. If you were to buy any of this hardware, ideally, how much money are you willing to spend, and what features would you want it to have for that price range?
  4. What are DBOX, and ButtKicker?
Thank you!

My Rig and hardware used,

Why did i choose fanatec, It Ooooozes quality that No other brand has managed to touch for the price range, and The motion, for the sheer fact that i could.

Dbox is a Style of Actuator used for Full frame motion. Buttkicker's are Brand of Tactile Transducer's (silent subwoofers) that provide a Tactile(vibration) feedback.

Wow, great work you've done there! I'm impressed! Can you elaborate more on how you made the motion part of your rig? Both the hardware, and the software that was used to communicate between the game and hardware.

The reason I ask these questions is that I'm trying to figure out if its possible to create a motion simulation product that is both quality, and a lot cheaper than current competitors, so that any average joe can have one of these rigs in their homes. I am just now starting to do research on what's out there, and if there's a market or need for this type of product.
