Quick question regarding GID in AMS/SCE/RF/RF2

I find that most of the GID elements will become hidden if I change to a different LCD mode other than the tire LCD. If I switch LCD mode all GID elements except the center speedo LCD disappear.

Also I find that using Ctrl-F to show my in-game FPS will make all elements flicker.

Any idea what's causing this and how I should resolve these 2 issues? Thanks.
