Hi Guys Iam relatively new to RaceDepartment and I seem to be having trouble getting this mod to work, extracted the mod to C/Steam/SteamApps/Name/Race07 and for some reason i cannot see the relevant Mod Tab in the selection screen. Iam running Windows 7 64bit and Steam sits within Programmes86 on my C drive (hard drive).

They are racing on an 08 track, you will need RaceON in order to race.

I'm on the same OP as you, and it wasn't as straight forward as other mods. When I extracted the whole Winrar folder into C/Steam/SteamApps/Name/Race07, a folder named "Porsche Mobil 1 SuperCup for GTR Evolution - version 2.5." In this folder, highlight the GameData and UIData folders, cut, then paste them in C/Steam/SteamApps/Name/Race07. it will then ask, do you want to merge them or something, click yes. Next time you go in-game you should find them.

I found this needed dowing with the Saleen Mustang, and the Porsche and Ferrari GTSport mod.

Well that was fun...

Qualifying: Pole. Some setup advice from Eric meant that was able to get the S60 handling like I wanted it to in practice, and the result was a comfortably fast car.

Race 1: I got a great start, and managed to hold the lead every single lap except for the pit stops. I got some pressure from Jesper, but I was able to keep him behind me and take the win.

Race 2: Another good start, but I was held up in 5th for a small while. I eventually made it into the lead by virtue of my car's predictable handling and good corner speed. However, Jesper being Jesper, he wouldn't back down and kept within a second or so of me all race, even through the pit window. We had a great fight for the lead, getting wheel-to-wheel in places and testing the multiple lines around The Glen's corners. I managed to keep myself in front again, and happily notched up another win.

I'm over the moon at my first back-to-back victory on RaceDepartment, and I reckon this was one of the best Friday (Saturday) events I have ever competed in. Same time next week guys, Capiche? :wink:

Big props to my man Rhys for the pulling off the Triple. Pole and double win. Those have become near impossible to achieve lately in the Friday races with all the skill levels going up.

Look forward to racing with you guys next friday. Ill have to try and stop Rhys from a repeat
