Incidents:
#1 Starkenburg - Leppälä - Lap 1 T1
Protest: Starkenburg brakes later than the others around him trying to go for a space that would always disappear. He pushes Gosbee to the left into Leppala's car hitting him and he keeps pushing them by letting the car slide when going over the curb. That caused the glitch to occur and cause a massive crash.
Review: In view of the director Starkenburg had the right to enter the corner from the inside, as he held his line during the entire braking and did not enter the corner with overspeed. The incident is seen as a consequence of a three-car wide entrance into turn 1, from which none of the drivers can be particularly blamed.
Verdict: Racing incident
#2 Masciulli - Rodriguez - Lap 4 T1
Protest: Unsafety return.
Review: Masciulli runs wide in T1 and attempts to return to track while Rodriguez is approaching from behind. The move would have been perfectly ok, but Masciulli does not keep well to the left hand side of the track; he rather stays quite in middle. As a consequence, Masciulli's car was hard to avoid.
Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Eros Masciulli
#3 van der Niet - de Matos - Lap 39 T10
Protest: De Matos is side by side with van der Niet but van der Niet on the outside turns too soon and doesn't give enough room to De Matos, pushing him against the wall and giving him a lot of damage.
Review: This incident was marginal. van der Niet could have given slightly more room on the entry, which would have avoided the contact between the two cars and hence probably also prevented Matos' contact with the wall. Either way, Matos did not have enough room on the inside.
Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Danny van der Niet.
#4 van der Niet - Werdmuller - Lap 60
Protest: van der Niet doesn't acknowledge Werdmuller who is about to lap him, for nearly 2 sectors.
Review: According to article 9.1: It is the driver's, who is receiving the blue flag, responsibility to move out of the way, off the racing line. Backmarkers are obliged to give way to frontrunners at the earliest possibility. The rule does not specify the number of corners that a backmarker is allowed to hold a car up, but in this case the front runner was held up for approximately 10 corners, which can be considered too much.
Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Danny van der Niet.
