Williams dominates, while Lintner and Wolf no-show
The heat in Budapest forced a very slow start from all drivers this afternoon. But in the end, Williams have their way finishing 1-2. Harvey, hoping to come back from near disaster in India, completed the podium. His teamates Said and Rossello finished P6 and P7, matching the best finish for the season for the pair. Ferrari and McLaren looked to be doing quite well, running both their cars near the top all day. But in the end, both teams retired a car before the start, overheating massively in the pit lane.
Interviews
@Benutzername Your first victory of the season, leading your teammate home. Can anything stop the Williams now with a 42-point lead in the standings?
@Omer Said a great rivalry you have going with your teammate Rossello, but Harvey has double your points. You must be hoping for better results for the team?
@Sasha Jednak just off the podium today, but more worrying is your teammate Lintner. His home race and his car wasn't ready again. Can we expect the team to be better prepared for Round 4?
@TTupsi P8 is actually your best finish this season, but 4 points won't go very far in the championship. Can you do better for your home race in Round 4?
Next Race
Ahvenisto is a favorite among drivers, with its tight esses and figure-eight layout. I'm looking for a fun race and a cold brew to follow! See you soon, in Finland!
