Race07 Server problem

hello !

i´m new to race 07 and i got a problem with the creating of a dedicated server

everytime when i host a dedicated server, i can´t join and got a 5000 ping in the lobby

my mates can´t join too

i opened the ports and my firewall blocks nothing
(i´m using a fritzbox)

TCP+UDP 48942 – 48957 and UDP 26900-26907
48958-48973

what i not understand is
i see the server in the lan mode and there i can join
and of course not my mates


i hope somebody can help me to fix the 5000 ping

Maybe you're not forwarding the ports correctly. Check if they're open here: http://www.canyouseeme.org/

EDIT: actually, not sure if that's gonna do anything. Ports may be open, but I thought that maybe they weren't getting forwarded to your computer properly (if it's a router)

i typed this port 48942 and the site says
Connection timed out

looks like the ports are not free in my router

i get the error even at the open arma 2 ports , and they work

is there something wrong with the site?^^

im having problems with the same thing my ISP KPN has just updated me to VDSL and no matter what i do i cant get my ping under 5000 when looking at my d server.... i had it all working great with adsl and my linksy wag160n ....
now i have to use there experia box ZTE H220n... i have managed to open ports i can even use the DMZ but its still shows a ping of 5000... i use this to check my ports are open...http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm download and it pings your modem.. you can also check to see it its a firewall problem..... ive had all 3 green and still ping is over 5000... ive a second pc also to run my d/server same again ... 5000 ping..
I think my problem is the internal firewall in the modem/router... it cannot be changed and set to high...KPN will not change it ...
But i can get a new VDSL router modem that i can fully control...
Is your modem supplied by your isp maybe you have same problem....

Nope, working fine for me.

If the port is not open, you get a "connection timed out"
If the port is open, but it isn't routed properly (which is what popped to my mind first), you get a "No route to host"

I'd double check if your ports are actually open.
