Have done quite a bit of Rfactor and was disappointed with RF2 so was looking to try something different. It seems Race7 gets a lot of interest at RD. Can anyone let me know how it compares to RFactor and is it worth investing in.

That's mostly due to Guntar Rowe's excellent mods, which for me are as important for the game as the best addonpacks like GTR Evo and RaceOn

Don't know if you drove the previous one[the 2005 mod], but Mr Rowe's F1 2007 was not only better, but much better than Simbin's own RRoom F1 car.

I agree, but only based on the GTR2 demo, although I have the GTR2 carpack which someone said had GTR2 physics?????
That said, I think most people are talking about the game index side of GTR2, as most people single play....

Yup Gunthar is "The Man!" I have all the True to Life mods the FVR V8 08 to 10 being my favorite.

Also is it just me or is the replay quality on Race better than rFactor, GTL or GTR2? I think so.

Yeah 10 is pretty awesome. I'm not overly keen on the 11 due to the lines across the windshield and not to keen on the wheel too.

Actually, 10 makes 11 feel heavy and understeery.
10 also looks much better than 08/09.

I have it and the dl is via RaceRoom, don't know about Spa but I have a few add-on tracks and mods in it.

Run great with Win7.
