Where did that Come From !?!

Really bad going Mclaren team resurrected at Spa Francorchamps. Matthew Gutteridge drove a fantastic race and took the first place in front of New Champion Sebastien Levret.

So, Levret announced his title at the end of Spa. With Honk finishing 7th. He will race last three races as the champion.

Another returner, David Buxton took the last step of the podium. He said " We will fight for the 2nd place in Team's championship. Maybe even for 1st. "

Disappointed Williams's ( As they are past by Mclaren ) Rhys Gardiner came 4th. He past his teammate Ben Tusting which blowed up his engine.

Peter, another strong fighter for the 2nd place of the championship came 5th. Renault will try for passing the Jaguar and Jordan.

Bert Van Waes came 6th. Without Viljar, Jordan only scored points with him. Their 3rd place is in danger.

Honk was really disappointed after the race. He said " That was the best i could do with a Jaguar. "

bduddy, the only racer of Arrows scored points again.

Kyle could'nt manage to pass bduddy so he past here without points.

~Race Report~

~GRID~

~Report~

·Pre Race: Rain is delaying this Belgian Grand Prix. This now becomes a game of chance, with faulty weather reports meaning that each car is set up very differently. The Jordans are set up for a track that will dry very quickly, the Ferrari’s and Jaguars for a very wet race, and the McLaren’s for a slow-drying track. No-one knows what will happen next!

·Lap 1: After a ten minute rain delay, Omer Whited pushes his button, and the Belgian Grand Prix is go! Great start by the well-set up McLaren’s, as no rain is coming down at the moment, although the track is very wet.

·Lap 1: Dave Stephenson gets it very, VERY wrong coming out of Eau Rouge, and ends up with half a car. Marshalls slip and slide over the track to clear the debris, the race continues.

·Lap 15: The track continues to dry out, and the McLaren’s continue to charge. Buxton is now up to fifth and Gutteridge is fourth. Levret continues to lead! Could he make it a record five wins in a row?

·Lap 21: Sauber team radio “Seb, we’re getting some rain coming in around Pouhon. The track will get wetter, try and stay focused, we’ll move back to the wets if it gets worse

·Lap 27: Gutteridge’s McLaren jumps past Levret and into the lead. No rain is forecast before the end of the race.

·Lap 32: Gutteridge is now pulling well clear, ahead of Levret who is being told to hold back, preserve the championship, with Honk languishing in seventh, a mistake-free drive from Sebastien would gain him the championship. Sauber Team Radio “Sebastien, don’t push. Gutteridge is quicker, hold station and you are champion”

·Lap 36: Down comes the rain! Starting at Pouhon, torrential rain has spread across the track! Within a lap, all cars have been slowed to a crawl. McLaren Team Radio “STOP IT! GET OMER TO RED FLAG!” “Alright Matthew, we’ll get on to Omer, Matt and Resi.”

·Lap 39: Red Flags all over the track. The Race is Over. Sebastien Levret is champion , with out-of form McLaren surrounding him on the podium. Gutteridge leaps from his car to congratulate the tearful Levret, and team-mate David Buxton. It’s hard to tell where the water is flowing most, out of the clouds or out of Levret’s eyes. Peter Sauber is tearful as well.

·Post- Race: Gutteridge collects his trophy and pushes Levret onto the top step. As the Champagne flows, Sebastien’s dream season reaches it’s climax, with three races still to go.

LIVE NEWS FLASH FROM MCLAREN TECHNOLOGY CENTER

In a press release only five minutes ago, Ron Dennis said:
Ron Dennis said:
We are sorry to announce that, after only one season with the McLaren F1 Team, and only his fifth in racing altogether, one of our drivers, David Buxton, has announced he will be retiring at the end of the season. He's a busy man, and his tireless work for charity has brought starving children back from the dead, and ended several small wars. Everyone here at the McLaren team would like to wish Buxie all the best for the future
Team-mate Matthew Gutteridge was saddened by this news
Matthew Gutteridge said:
Buxton was an amazing teammate, friend and racer. I am truly dissapointed to know that he won't be in the car next to mine in the garage next year. Good Luck in whatever you do next Buxie!
Buxton himself has been very cagey about his next move
David Buxton said:
I don't know what I'll do next, whether I'll come back, or even what I'm having for tea. For the moment, I'm going to stay commited to going out on a high

^^This is true by the way. We'll miss you Buxie :(
