Rallying online?

I am sorry for being a lazy person and not to look for this information myself, but what steps should I take towards rallying online with RaceDepartment? I've only now found out about this and I have huge interest in this but alas am very confused as to what to do for rallyingto be possible for me. I have long experience in rFactor and F1 Challenge but I've never tried rallying and I guess I would be quite slow and inconsistent at first, but whether or not I'm consistent on the stage, I would surely be consistent in participating!

I will find the basic stuff, but I'd just like to know if there is anything special I should take into consideration and also I'd like to introduce myself this way!

I have raced RBR offline every now and then for about five years but I doubt that qualifies as anything here!

You're a licensed member already, so all you need to do is install RBR and RSRBR, sign up for an event, and join.

The main link (installing RSRBR) in that thread is now out of date, it refers to RSRBR2012.
For the latest version, RSRBR2013, you need this one:
