2KF1 returned to their front row lockout ways with James McNamara taking his second pole position on Australian soil this season. Manolis Sigoulakis is alongside as the special purple cars will lineup ahead of a row two lockout from Apex, with championship hopeful Joel Rautavaara leading the way in 3rd from Utzer. Row 3 is a Dutch lockout, Bohner and Brugman, while Nathan Cornes has it all to do from 7th alongside Diehl. Harvey and Cocks round out the ten.
The JHRs will be looking for quick passing from 12th and 13th, while Ishikawa in 14th has a lot of work to do for points.
Commentators Comments: Rautavaara could be on track for a record equalling 3rd race win in a row, and from 3rd place I'd say he will. Only disaster will stop him from individual race honours, but Cornes still has the upper hand in regards to getting points. He can safely finish 6th twice and still grab the title. One disaster for him however could be season ending.
Podium Tips: J. Rautavaara, B. Utzer, O. Mishra.

Wow
Exactly the worst possible result for Apex from a Razor point of view.
Well done, a dominant 1-2 coming into the last race of the season.
On to the final round!

yeah, exactly the best result we could've gotten
came close to the 1-2 in the last 3 races, so it's amazing to get it now.

From a drivers' championship aspect however, Nathan finishing in 4th is not exactly perfect.. Joel will need a retirement from him, and to keep up the win streak himself at Interlagos.
