Yes, partly because plenty of the pace notes kinda suck. (They aren't called pace notes though, of course, but I can't remember the official name...) In particular, a "right 4" early on Pant Mawr (I think it's Pant Mawr anyway) which is more like a 2, and that ridiculous "right 4" at the very last corner of a Greek stage which is either a 1 or a 2 (and if you take it as a 4 you fly). And that's before you even start on the timing - mine are set to "early" which is too late some of the time and way too early at other times. So, sadly, learning the stages makes a huge difference.
I think I'll just have to pick a small number of likely cars and a stage or two and try 'em against each other
(I enjoy the Alpine but not so sure I'm competitive in it!) Am still trying to find the test events btw but perhaps they'll show up once I get the league membership sorted out.
