rFactor is not Working - HELP

Well, as in title

I'm having some issues with rfactor, haven't played in a while but decided to get it out again. I booted it up and it all loaded fine - then I select car, go to testing, select track, and load. It still seems fine but then when it's finished loading and got to the "In garage" screen it freezes up and won't let me click on anything - as if it's decided to load something else but is struggling to do so.

Any ideas? If a reinstall is avoidable, that would be my preferable.

EDIT:

I just realized that the game always loaded the map plugin after loading the track. So I uninstalled that and the problem was gone, and when I reinstalled it the problem was back

Does anyone know a fix or alternative? I find the plugin really useful on unfamiliar tracks so I'm sad to have to let it go.

You have Croft installed? That causes Map Plugin to crash, even if you are not using that track.

Hmmm, will check later - I have heaps of tracks so cannot remember off the top of my head.

BTW if I do is there a reason known and/or a fix?

It's to do with the AIW and no fix currently.
