By law I am only allowed to drive automatic cars, and in real life I need a spinner knob with remote controls fitted to the steering wheel (for stuff like the wipers, horn and indicators). Besides it being illegal for me to do so on safety grounds, the distance of a real life H-pattern car's gearstick from the wheel means that I probably wouldn't be able to drive one anyway.
