As mentioned by a few others, I feel for the guy; genuine emotion following the incident. But, as noted, it was his decision to go for the grass rather than the brake and it bit him.

Grass isn't the race track. Race start or not. He wasn't closing on Sergio fast enough to not be able to stop, he chose to go off the track. His fault in the end, though I'm sad to have seen it happen.

I'd love for him to get a title. Genuinely great guy, and my favourite driver in the field.

I felt so bad for Ricc when I saw his car fly up at the start. Besides that I finally enjoyed watching an F1 race again. :)

Anybody has info on the F1 TV app? As me watching a race here costs €6, a 65 euro year fee would be cheaper.

With front wings as wide as the entire track, running on the grass is a complete non-option. Max should count himself lucky that he didnt copy Ricciardo later in the race in T1.
