Unzipped, these files seem to be around 128Mb. IS that right?

Yes, they are 4k resolution.

In fact, all 4 files contain 515 MB of data. When you consider the fact that not only the skin dds files but the texture map files are 4k, there's a lot of data each file contains, thus the large size. I've never noted that impacted the gameplay any. There used to be talk that high res skins sucked fps, but on my mid system I've always gotten 90 fps on high settings with all manner of textures.
