Safety Car bug

I have been playing Race for quite a while now, I have it on steam, but after sometime without playing, I decided to get back to it, and now, everytime I grab a BMW '87 online, the safety car keeps spawning and disappearing on me, very quickly, and eventually it somehow collides with me, sending me flying away, so now I can't use my favorite car anymore, I'm quite sure I haven't modified anything from when it worked until now, and, don't know if this helps, but I start it up with GTR Evolution on Steam.

I tried searching this problem but couldn't find anything about it.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Now it happened with the F3000 at Monza...

Safety car isn't being so safe then eh? Sorry to hear of your issue, hope you get it taken care of soon.

sounds like uve got a bit of a bug or a corrupt file there.
cant say ive ever had it happen to me.
best thing to do would be get steam to verify local content for any and all race series games you have installed.
if that doesnt work ,remove local content and re-download.
