F1 2010 Season 2 R&D question

Hi guys, I'm currently with McLaren in my second season.
I'm 1st in WDC and just reached Montreal.

My question is, why are the R&D developments so much slower than in my 1st season with Lotus?
I'm waiting to get the Fast throttle map setting (which I had before Monaco in season 1) but there seems to be no sign of it yet.

Any one got any clues?

we run a race every sunday M8, check the race club its normally around 12 or 2 pm pommy time !!!

The Sunday events are always for PC gamers.
I only play on PS3.

Back to the original topic........ I've just started my second season and didn't want to go straight to the big teams so i signed for torro rosso as a number 1 driver. So having read this topic when it started I could'nt wait to be able to adjust the r&d. Come 1st practice went to the r&d menu and it won't let me change the path. Well that sucks

So if you stay with the team the car is faster because of stacked upgrades? Makes me wonder where to go next season... I am currently at BMW Sauber with reputation 22, doubt I will make FI's requirements for next season (26) with 10 races to go.
