When I had triple screens I had a hood like yours and it was great I also added some additional black screens underneath the monitors which worked really well

I tried something similar with this

but it turned out far less than ideal as even with my smallish 24" it sacks a lot, so much that I keep held up by a stack off books when swiveled over my desk . Tho ofc this is DIY, but I underestimated the play every element has, mostly in those hinges, but even the profile arms show visual twist if you look closely

Im late to the party here but this is my solution for now. Think I will eventually go samsung G9 just on the rig by itself. However, I spent my budget for this year on the new rig and Fanatec system mounting on it. So for now this monitor will have to do. I used 80/20's free tech toolkit to measure the level of deflection of an end load to make sure I could easily mount up to about 80lbs onto this arm without issues.

H it’s a simucube 2 pro,took me a while to get my sims dialled in to where I liked them,but now it’s really good.

This is so much more immersive and fun.

Planning on getting windsim, transducers and pedal rumble motors.

that will be the day you bust a toe or something else on it, guaranteed (we use these 8040 constructions at work a lot for machine enclosures)

I had to use rubber mallet to install them, could barely remove when needed to make some adjustment. Where do you get yours, sim-lab?

Are you able to activate the estop in that position? I have mine on the inner upright of my rig, so I can hit it with my knee immediately should I need to.

I forgot to move it to be honest,but i like your idea,may use it too.I have to admit never needed too use estop,but never say never.

I’ve only had to use it once, but I’m glad I managed to do it quickly!

Awesome rig! Please do me a favor and lower that keyboard tray, i can se it spin into and crack the monitor, have experience in that stuff, no fun at all
