SimMidi is a bridge program allowing you the usage of any midi controller as input device in any simulation.

Two ways are provided to do so:

• Monitor midi messages and map it to a vJoy device (vJoy)
• Monitor midi messages and map it to autohotkey script (AHK)

Following midi messages are monitored and send to, when mapped:

Hi CC! Thx . Sorry i have no video account. But if you setup it correct, the leds will follow nicley your encoder rotation and are a real feedback from the sim.

Hey. I have difficulties on Windows 10. It seems that the download link for vJoy for windows 10 is broken.

If you click on windows 8 you get a software installer. But if you click on windows 10 you get the same SDK as the "SDK" link.

hi ,

@ first thx for the great software BUT
im having troubles figuring it out, and i gues somethings wrong
or i am expecting to many functions..

i got a dj panel from hercules (old mp3 version)
this got 26 buttons (some got leds) ,8 rotary knobs (no leds)
3 sliders & a mini joystick

i think somthing is wrong with sim midi (assetto) app recognition.
at first app-recognition did never work and i dint notice until it did work after i installed simhub

EDIT if i open simhub after sim midi & acs are,open app recognition work.


but sadly onle once (sim midi tells wich game,track,car i am using cause i got assetto up&running on time in background all this time)
if tryed to get it working later on , tryed different hard drive locations (c: , game folder , admistrator rights ,reboots
etc)
then after a total fresh start (simhub-vjoy-simmidi re-installation)
i got it working 1time yet again...

what i see possible with this from an game pov (some examples)

- use the led button for headlights (led stay on if headlights are on) (need verification udp?simdash?)
i can bind the button thru vjoy, but led i cant fix with vjoy only?>AHK?
- ledbutton lights up if the traction control kicks in
- ledbutton lights up if fuel nearly empty

what is possible using vjoy/sim midi/sumhub from my plan?
can i do anything with the demo config files included, would u sugest altering these configs or start fresh?

in my case vjoy(only) or AHK(only)?

if spend days running it all thru my mind, looking **** up
trying diffrent ideas, i'm usualy quite dedicated to figure things out myself (poor me
but i cant find much info about this rather exotic subject

and the leds are only controlable on linux
