Sound Issues please help

I have this odd distortion sound when in low revs coming up. it dissapates as I get into higher revs but its horrible and I cannot for the life of me figure this issue out. its across all cars, tracks etc. Have tried changing the audio channel file within assetto corsa from 256 to 512, have tried changing all the audio settings turning them up/down have even downloaded new audio drivers for my PC and tried changing that up. Still no dice. I've never encountered the issue on any other game.
