  • Full damage will be utilised.
  • Each race event will be either 2 heats, with 10 laps each heat or a 20 lap endurance event inc Manditory Pitstop.
  • Heat 1 Normal grid (random).
  • Heat 2 reverse grid.
  • It will auto load Heat 2.
  • Timeout will be set to 2 minutes after the first person has crossed the line.
  • Teams will be allowed. (It will be the case of picking another driver to make the team up and I will do the points after the race).
  • Lobby will open at 8.15pm (UK Time) to allow for any connection issues.
  • This will be open to all Licensed Members.
  • If you are not connected by the race start time, you will not be able to race. If you get disconnected during the race, you will miss the race, unless everyone disconnects.

Ah,so it was you then Bradley who was driving the Bouncy lotus exige.It was a really strange thing in the race.I don't know if it was only the uplink to me.But this is what I saw. Didn't save a reaply though. :( If you want to drop me back to last place no problem there as your car was faster anyway.So would have been logic if I ended last.Here's what I experienced.
At a certain point in the race you closed in fast on me .So I stuck to my line as you were clearly faster that you could overtake me.
That was toward the fast coner leading to the chicane before the finishline. And at that point suddenly you seemed to be angeled on the road for making contact with me.But I didn't feel anything.Neither did i had any damage.Then on the chicane you were next to me.There i yielded as you were on the better line.Off the chicane on the straight suddenly you were on the right side (pitlane-side) and you seemed to lift your foot of the gas.So i stuck to the left side to try and overtake.Almost to the end of the pit-straight you came left and we made contact there wich made you spin out into the gravel.But this was in a spil-second that you were on my right-side and then blink on the right of my cars nose.Seeing as I wasn't completely passed you there I let you get back on the track in the corner up to the sweepers.
Once you were rolling I followed you line and at the first sweeper you were sliding of into the gravel. So I'm not sure where it all went wrong. But from my point of view you car was out of sync with mine.Can't conclude if it's my connection or something else.Anyway I feel sad that that ruined your race.

I always seem to be really slow on the straights, and to be honest, I've looked at the replay again, and I seem to drift to the left a bit, then you started to break, and from what I see, that made you turn a tad right, and around the area I live, our bandwidth is so poor I think at most it's 1 maybe 2mb/s

I think it was mostly my fault in conclusion I guess last night I was a bit mad I mad the small error of slowly drifting over into your line.
 
Race report!

Thought the race went well! Got a great start off the line and made up few places, was just behind wayne going through the chicanes, managed to get up the inside on the uphill left hander, well done wayne so suprised you didnt hit me or the car on your outside! Got the run on Stefan and went rojnd the outside going up the hill, was chasing Karl down like crazy to catch up we where very close for a few laps as I built up speed, got a good run on the final chicane and had good speed down the pit straight and went up the inside into turn one, I then started to make sure of the apex's through the chicanes to stop any re-passes, Karl was close for the next few laps until I jumped into the pits on lap 8/9 had a poor out lap on cold tyres and as I came around to the pit straight again I saw Karl in the pits, just passed him as he was on the exit and thats how it stayed, a bit of tooing and frowing with the gap until i managed to get my head down and put in some good times best was a 2.12.1 but was dirty as Karl was close. Really enjoyed the racing, it might be worth considering a handicap to nerf the exiges a touch as the lap times where miles apart, what do you guys think??
 
Personally Chris I understand your proposition but on the other hand we all had a chance on choosing our car for the event.
So for me personnaly I don't vouch for a powerrestriction on the exige's although it would benefit me the most ;)
If the mayority goes for the restriction to make the exige's closer to us other drivers it would make it a closer racing competition. That would mean more battling and tenser racing wich is great of course. If so then great for me and I'll follow the mayority.
But I look at it as it would be in a regular championship.Take for example red bull vs Virgin in F1. There's also a difference in performance wich leads to Virgin beeing 5 sec's slower a lap.
So I see it as beeing my challange to get my car tuned to close the gap towards the rest of the pack.My fastest lap was 2.21 on a clean lap.It's an eternity on a racetrack but still realistic seeing how little I've changed and spend on tuning the setup of my car.
So eager to hear the other racers point of view.
 
your pace trough turn 2 was crazy chris, your car looked glued! tbh though, i know my tune is in a very early stage. But you have to factor in that you guys are crazy fast at he front anyway!

Just thought id put it out there as i dont want people feeling like they want leave because of the difference in times!!

First time ive been called Crazy Fast :D

Ive spent about 4hrs ish on the tune!!!
 
FWIW, i think it would be hard to take it any other way what with the lag. It was unfortunate that Peter clipped you right on the back end to pitch you round, though Peter if i was you I might have backed out a bit earlier as Bradley had the corner really. If you were much more side by side then that would be a different story.

This is just my opinion though :confused:
 
Right guys, weve looked the incident over and we feel this is a racing incident. There is contact on the exit of the chicane which is what leads up to the issue and the contact its self looks like a misunderstanding of eachothers position! What i would like to say is that we all need to be aware of other cars around us and especially need to be able to understand where another car will move in preperation for entry into a corner. This incident could have been avoided if these two points had been understood. We will put this on report and will monitor for the next few races. No further action will be taken.
