Stop and Go

Another newbie question. I was ordered to take a stop and go penalty during multiplayer, and went into the pits twice. Both times, Stop and Go was set to N/A and i ended up with new tires and fuel both times. Neither pit stop could clear the penalty. What did I miss?

in your menu, you should set Penalty to Yes, not N/A.

In your menu, change to the pit menu and you can scroll up and down, select penalty at the top and use left right to change the option to Yes, I think it is.
