I've used AVG for years now, never had a problem with GSC 2012 or GSC. Maybe you have a serious virus which bypasses the anti-virus. Upvote 0 Downvote

morsify morsify May 17, 2013 #3 AVG has definitely done this to others, so it is unlikely to be a genuine virus. There should be an option in AVG to exclude the GSC directory from virus scanning once you get it installed. Upvote 0 Downvote

P Phil Cook Phil Cook May 23, 2013 #4 @ Dewald hijack this, found no nasties, but,,to be sure,I took the computer to the shop, nothing found. @ Keith There is, but even with it excluded, avg didnt like that exe. I've changed anti virus programs,so, my solution solved Upvote 0 Downvote
