tech awaiting issue

Hi, I've just purchased iRacing and I have an issue. Most of the time when I try to launch either a test drive or a race the screen freezes at the tech awaiting message. I don't know what to do and its getting frustrating. Can anyone please help me fix this? Thanks

That's strange. I've never run into that. Definitely contact iRacing support, they're pretty helpful.

In the meantime, maybe try resetting iRacing settings to defaults? Updating drivers, etc.?
