The Big RACE Freeze Thread

I saw a lot of guys which have big issues with freezing pc's during a race, please let me do some investigation and check this poll.

Mtommi make sure you delete any unused tracks and delete your replay folder. I have found this cures most GTR problems.

Rfactor I can't comment as I've been having problems recently but only since I installed loads of mods so a reinstall sounds like the cure.

i must say since the evo update my CTD`s have become more frequent, with the last 2 mini friday events plaqued with them. so evo`s been put on the back burner till i get my new pc.
i must add that rFactor isent a problem which is a relief

Have you tried deleting replays and excess tracks?

About replay and track,
I always keep clean,
If i race add on track,i only put 1 track on Locations,
Customs skins also put 1 file in,

Yesterday,i just update my main board BIOS,( ASUS M2N-E )
I hope this is can fix freeze problem,
Wait my no freeze report ( If 2 or 3 week no freeze ):disapointed:

I change the main board BIOS,
and today buy SATA Cable,
And buy Wired mouse and keyboard,

...........freeze ......
and than i alt+tab go out,i see cpu is run 100 %....

Oh,have any help me not freeze on GTR-E ?

i get the same thing with Evo on my pc m8, cpu running at 100% and cpu fan sounds like it will explode, with rFactor it is slightly better but occasionally hits 100%.
my cpu is a Core Duo E4500, so i`m treating myself to a i7 based pc :in-love:

Wich gfx card do you have?
Did you try the 175.16 drivers and ntune?

It's the game and probably maybe the Nvidia card drivers having problems with the GMotor engine again. Try some other driver's.

Now,i use 190.38 driver
And me use RivaTuner221,use this,is me made the display card fan to fast ( Use 85 % fan speed )
