Yeah my bad, that's what I've tried to say, not exactly lack of lightThere’s ambient light, it’s just a fixed value. Everything would look very odd if there wasn’t any ambient.

I will compare which looks more natural, doors on or off. In game, most of the time, the doors are closed anyway. The AC export guidelines say to move doors a metre out when baking interior stuff to let more light in, goes like this (I use keyframe -1 and the rear doors go extra far so the bits between the doors end up right)

Now that's something I'd look forward to
My word!
Man that thing looks good...
I've always wondered why so many car mods have very dark interiors and this probably explains it. Some of them seem lined in black velvet with all ambient light getting absorbed.Official cars have AO calculated with the doors moved away like that, and also they tune up the levels to make it more brighter and avoid dark spots.
Tbh i dont blame them. The roster of important Porsches is massiveMy word!
That I never understood. From 21 Porsches they added via the DLCs, Kunos did not include one single old school 993
Funny to see you call a 993 "old school". For me it's still "that new design"....
Anyway enough whining about not having Porsches. I mean we can't complain having a Panamera...
And a Macan.... (such an iconic car, that one...)
I held all 171 WRs (9 cars x (9 track segments + 3 track sums + 7 circuits)) in The Need for Speed / The Need for Speed: Special Edition back in March 1999. So, this brings memories... I still probably hold most of the WRs, in fact...
Don't know about the 993. Still working on the ZR-1 though, but it has so many details Stay tuned! The main reason for me coming to RaceDepartment is to come to this thread to see where the ZR1 and 993 are in terms of readiness. I cannot wait. Any updates?
The ZR-1 will be out before the 993, that's for sureI`d say summer is coming to an end, we`ll see more mod updates now
I started working on the Vette sometime in mid February, and 7 months later, its still not doneThe ZR-1 will be out before the 993, that's for sure
