The FIA want to host Formula E and Formula 1 at the same event. Create a street circuit anywhere you like that is suitable for both to race at. Keep it 1.5-3.5 miles long

A street circuit has been proposed in Miami, Florida recently for F1. Design it(with normal F1 length specifications and space for pit lane)

Looks like the proposed layout is a lot different from what us experts suggested.

I don’t think that will be the final configuration of the circuit, having that dual double straight doesn’t fit in with the safety standards F1 have set in modern years. Part of me wants to like the layout in terms of trying to make a slightly interesting layout with overtaking opportunities in one of the worst cities for a street circuit but I’m not sure.
