Unable to join online servers

Tried to join the club race server today, but it stops loading at cars/500abarth/shadows.nko .
I tried some other non-password servers and had the same problem. I had my graphics pretty much maxed out so I lowered them and tried again but still had the same problem. Any ideas?

Some custom car skins can cause problems I think. So if you use them, try running the track offline, choosing a default simple skin for the car which will be default for next session online. This happened to me.

Actually it is a new install of the game. I haven't added skins or tracks yet. Really frustrating!

Try downloading and installing again.

Nope, it happens with all cars and any non-passworded server. I'll try the reinstall and see if that works.

It problaby has to do with a firewall setting.

Try to make an exception rule in your windows firewall/other firewall for NKS.exe, and NOT for netkar_pro.exe. That's a common mistake.
