URD PX opinions

I'm sorry for opening another thread if there's an existing one. I have searched for one, but have found none.

Anyway, I'd like to hear your opinions on the "new" URD PX LMP mod. How realistic do you think it is, how does it drive, is it worth buying... Any information is useful.

take a screenshot in a showroom using either F8 or clicking on the camera icon. In the AC folder in your documents there will be a screens folder. Rename the photo 'preview' and drag and drop it into the car's skin folder.

Impressions...

Rebellion is a bit underwhelming imo. Just another MR car with an overpowered rear axle. Sound is also particularly dull. I thought the Toyota v8 sounded way better irl. The only cool thing is the hilarious cockpit pov which gives you negative lateral vision because of the high wheel arches. I like that.

The Audi is very interesting. The handling characteristics are very different and subtle. The on power understeer from the AWD system is a nice change and not as offensive as other AWD cars like the Alfa GTV thing. Also takes a while to get your brain to adjust to the fact that the car has some handling characteristics of a Formula car, but weighs 900kg. This weight has a noticable effect on braking. The sound is fantastic. I love the ERS harvest and deployment sounds. The grip is disgusting. Full throttle out of Club without even thinking is pretty satisfying. For a Beta car this was very satisfying.

Does anyone know... Does URD intend to make the Porsche and Toyota?

If you mean AWD as in from the KERS/ERS, then that's a placebo; you can't put KERS power on a non-powered axle in AC...If it otherwise has AWD, then it's just wrong....

you can't put KERS power on a non-powered axle in AC

But you can emulate it via fresh implemented active differential that can put some power on front under some conditions :^) We have rwd car most time, but it has same triggers for activating kers and raising front share. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

Hello Alless and all the guys,

What is the progress on the PX? Checked the Sellfy store it still contains buggy 0.7a so naturally I am sticking with 0.7 version.

Are you planning to progress with the project (include Darsche Hybrid for example), polish Aura and email further updates? This is a great project, I understand you concentrate on RF2 but please don't forget us here either...thanks.

BTW, all your three mods EGT, T5 and PX share the same font file sets, is compatibility is fine there?

P. S. The link to the old 0.7 version has been deleted from the Mega NZ to prevent further content spread, I guess all legit mod owners who needed have already downloaded it.

i´ve got a prpblem with the 2015 rebellion. Not a big one, just the lights go out if the car comes to close to the camera
it´s kind of strange and i just wanted to point it out and ask if somebody else have that problem!

The MOD is absolutely amazing but

please, look at the AI behavior! they do overtake but they always retire after a couple of minutes..... :-(

from what i understand the ultra grip is a bit off, its mainly a problem with the revolution duo. the aura and loire seem to not have much of a problem

i´m with you! Driving in gt class the auras and loires are lapping you quite good but the revolutions always are pretty...dump and agressive from what i noticed

Hmm yeah, got a bit silent since the unfortunate debacle with the latest release.
I'm still hesitant to upgarde to 007a with the acd file posted here earlier.

Would love a new release so that everybody is on the same page again.

this is mainly, no completely due to rfactor 2. the team is getting held up because the rfactor 2 version drives and sounds a lot worse then the assetto corsa version due to no awd or hybrid abilities. they are trying to create a compromise. also a team member randomly left.

What's the plan physics-wise for the other LMP1 when comparing them to the Aura?

• similar physics to have them somewhat BoP'ed / level out
• or more towards the realistic approach with the Aura being better in corners and the Darche having the better accel etc.?

lol it was a joke hence the silly comment at the end. i prefer the porsche wheel though, im more accustomed to straight handles.

AC PX small update-new tires and Aura LCD fix was just released.
Who didnt receive email yet wait for some time, it can take.

And we have included small gift(Formula Lights 2015 road/oval), will be send out to other AC customers to.

For rF2 customers, there will be same gift or different one. Will be decided in upcoming days.

Yep. Feels really good! Lacks a little finesse and detail in the physics department compared to the lotus exos but alot of fun can be had with this.
