Using different ports than 9600 and 8180

Hello,
since I already used the ports 9600 and 8180 for my first PC I let my Router hand me other port adresses. They worked just fine and I also typed them into the AC server manager. However the server always aborted after a few seconds. IP is correct as well.
I thought you could just change the ports since the server manager lets you type in any number.
Any ideas?

Well, one thing that comes to mind: did you set up both the port forwarding on the router and the firewall rules on the PC to match the new ports? (You absolutely can run multiple servers on the same PC.)
