.veh files into .dds

I have a mod for rFactor and I want to paint the cars!The helmets of the drivers and their body are .dds file BUT the cars file is called .veh!I cant open that file and if I change the .veh to .dds then its not opening!Anyone have an idea what to do so i can paint the cars!

dude you need photoshop with a .dds plugin google it the plugins made by nvidia. you dont convert the .veh the .veh is a notepad file. get the templates for cars they are in .psd format then save them into .dds in photoshop remember to resize them too all you needto know is here
