What do you wear on your feet when you are sim-racing??

I am a stinky barefoot racer myself :becky: (or I might stick some socks on in winter)

Socks.

Barefoot is 'sticky' - too much friction on the heel and against the pedals, which makes me do driving errors and it's uncomfortable and noisy.

With socks it's really good in every single way - nothing to complain about.

With any kind of slippers or shoes, the stickiness attacks again on the heel and other places - I think it might be because of different, more 'top down' feet position compared to pedals in a car where one constantly would lift the entire leg, and this doesn't work under my desk.

Barefoot if I'm driving with auto-clutch on but I wear my Sparco racing shoes if I use the clutch for heel & toe downshifting with the G25. It's uncomfortable to try using the brake & gas pedal with a bare foot.
