Why My RSS Formula Hybrid 2023 is Slow on Oval Tracks?

I just bought RSS Formula Hybrid 2023 and installed it and tried to set my own record of Indianapolis oval track, but the top speed is terrible with merely 300km/h. I know this car is not made for oval tracks but shouldn't it reach at least 340km/h give or take? How come it only goes 300km/h even slower than some race cars?!

F1 cars are generally high downforce, designed for high cornering speeds on road tracks. Modern IndyCars - when equipped for a oval/superspeedway - are very low downforce, designed for high top speeds.

Two cars designed for very different purposes.

You can probably adjust your setup to get more speed out of the RSS, but you're still not going to beat Indy records. You're going to have to get closer to a top speed of 385 km/h for Indy.
