Sure no one has stock, but Nvidia are only now admitting how bad things are. They've been saying since the beginning that they would have stock, then that it would be next month, then it's next quarter, now it's next year. They were never honest with everybody about what the conditions actually were. They would have known from the beginning they couldn't provide the quantities, or the prices they promised at the start. It was a bait and switch as far as I'm concerned.Meh. SLI worked. It just got gradually less and less support from everyone. Nvidia, game devs etc.
Also, no-one has stock, regardless of GPU, consoles and so on.
They have a marketing department that seems to be disconnected from what the company is actually doing. They are willing to say or do anything to whip up hype. That's they're job, but it's managements job to keep a leash on their marketers and ensure they aren't telling fibs.
