Your Retail Copy of GTR, GTR2 and GTL on Steam

SimBin made an announcement today that owners with a retail copy of GTR, GTR2 and/or GT Legends can now add a digital version of their games to the Steam platform, free of charge. The games have been released years ago and especially the last two still have an active following today.

Please note that for GTR2 there is still an issue that not all the content from the retail version can be provide for the Steam version. This is probably due to licensing issues with Ferrari?

Well that is not entirely correct. For my GTR game I had to use the serial for online registration and not the serial on the DVD cover

No offence but here's what the SimBin site says:
Inside the DVD box of the aforementioned games you will find a multiplayer code that you fill (without the dashes!) in the field called "Product Code". For example: DZC9Z7S-HWPSJNC-3CAXTG8-KGZJ3VC becomes DZC9Z7SHWPSJNC3CAXTG8KGZJ3VC.
