2017 Goodsmile Racing Hatsune Miku AMG GT3 by PatchySan

v1.00 - Initial Release

v1.10 - Changed the alpha on the Bonnet Miku so she shows up a bit better from the model reflection, added outer glow to the driver names for better readability. Added more blocks on the top and surrounds to differentiate from Tatit's design on request.

V1.20 - Fix on the right side pillar where white blending intruded over the square patterns. Added compatibility with Project Cars 2.

v.1.30 - Matched the Carbon weave pattern for the Rear Spoiler, rear Window carbon pattern fixed for a cleaner look.

v1.40 - Champion Edition - Updated livery decals and number plate seen at Round 8 at Motegi Twin Ring. Minor adjustments on the side vents.

v1.50 - Final Edition - From my recent trip to the Nurburgring Ringwerk I was able to obtain a close high-resolution picture of the Mercedes AMG GT3 Side Exhaust Vents courtesy of the Haribo #8 car that was on display inside. I've manually extracted the image and applied it to the Miku car to give it some photorealism. It has been bugging me for a while that I couldn't find a good image of this until recently - now I can finally give it some closure!

This is the 2017 version of Goodsmile Racing's Hatsune Miku AMG GT3 that is racing in the Japanese Super GT GT300 class.

While I still prefer the "Rainbow Power" livery of the 2016 season it is a much more successful car - achieving podiums and even a class win in the first round of the season (Okayama). Actually it became the 2017 Japanese Super GT GT300 Class Champion - woo!

This took me much longer than expected to complete, I thought doing the previous year one would make this straightforward but NOPE. Taken me 3 months just to find a high quality image of Miku on the side alone (it's hard working with a 4k base) but I found it on a random magazine scan and manually had to cut and clean it out. Overall it took me 5 months to complete (>.<)

pCars Livery made by PatchySan, design inspired from Tatit's AC livery. #FightGSR

If you liked this livery why not grab the 2016 "Rainbow Power" version and have the Miku race battle of your life! (or maybe not.)

+++++ Installation +++++

Simply place the DDS file from the pCars 2 folder to the following directory:

X:\Steam\steamapps\common\Project CARS 2\Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries

X is where you installed the Steam directory. Normally in C:\Program Files (x86) for most default installations.

+++++ Credits +++++

I wouldn't really been able to complete this work without the inspiration of Tatit's 2017 version for Assetto Corsa so I want to express my gratitude for that. I have spoken with Tatit personally to clear up any misunderstanding and this has been sorted out amicabally.

I don't mind if you want to host or share this file elsewhere on a different forum but please do credit the original source. I sacrificed a lot of time trying to get this skin finished for the Miku fans out there - thanks!
