I use VoiceAttack with ACC, but it's built in voice recogniton is not great (uses Windows Speech Engine). Using it natively results in comedically bad chatbox messages.
So, I have written a script to use Google voice recognition instead (much better). To use this script, you will need three things:
You can download a trial version of VoiceAttack here;
https://voiceattack.com/#download-1
Install VoiceAttack, and in the main window, click on the Edit Profile button,
Download my script,
https://www.racedepartment.com/atta...574693/?hash=84696e1144320858dd3572988ffac453
In the "Edit a Profile" window, click the "Import Commands" button (bottom left),
Navigate to where you downloaded my script and open,
ACC Voice Dictation to Chatbox-Profile.vap
In the box that pops up, select the Chatbox command and click Import
You will have to edit the command to set the button you want to use to activate dictation mode
You need to change the two highlighted sections so it uses your chosen button
To finish up, you will need to have a blank Google Docs document open in a tab on your browser
https://docs.google.com/document/?usp=docs_alc&authuser=0
This window will pop up when you activate voice dictation, so it is best to make it small and put somewhere where it won't get in the way. If you want, you can drag it almost off the sceeen, so you dont have to see it. But I like to have it within vision, So I can check if it has recognised my voice, before it posts gobbledegook in the chatbox!!
TO USE
It should work both while driving and in the garage, but it sometimes glitches.
I have used different buttons to post in pits (works sometimes)
If you trust the script to recognise you perfectly, you can add a line to hit the Enter key automatically.
I have mapped the Enter key to one of the buttons on my wheel, so I don't have to touch the keyboard at all.
I tend to use VoiceAttack in NOT listening mode, so it doesn't try weird stuff that it thinks you asked for
( toggles with Left Alt +F4 )

- Press and hold your chosen button
- pause a little
- speak clearly
- pause a little more
- release the button
- when the script has pasted the contents to the chatbox (and you are happy with it) hit Enter to post it
