Some versions are impressive, but at 1440x5120 these kill my framerates by 80% over PURE alone.
Ive been using this filter for the last week or so and is by far the best I've tried, having tried a LOT! This is the best I've found to work with HDR monitor. Thanks!
What a great job so far, definitely an S rank filter
I have been using your lighting for night and man the best-looking filter for the night. So natural
After testing multiple filters including other in combination with Reshade, this is the one I always come back to. Thanks for your hard work and optimizations. Hoping that you continue to update as new versions of CSP / Pure are released.
I'm honestly amazed at how this filter gets better with almost every update. Version 8.05 of this filter looks LITERALLY perfect on Shutoko at night. Your outdone yourself with this version. Well done!
One of my most used filters. Really appreciate the active updates too.
Excellent filter been using it for a while now. Thank for the updates, this just get better and better.
Thank you for keep improving this awesome filter!
One thing I didn't like at all of default Pure PPfilter was the light, it looked washed to me and the game looked a bit cartoonish.
I like the light of your filter. Perhaps the colors are a bit oversaturated for me taste, but it's nothing that can't be fixed by lowering the pp saturation slider of pure ppfilter adjustement menu by two notches. In the same way, in some circuits (for example Laguna Seca) I have had to reduce the sunlight slider by one or two points. This week I'll take it a shoot in VR mode.
very good ppfilter so natural and just right.
This is starting to get....no.. it is getting ridiculous. How many Updates are there going to be? Should I hold out for Version 10.0. Should be there pretty soon. Great stuff....but geeez
best filter of all time congrats. you deserve six stars!
this is the best ppfilter I used, i tried different popular ppfilters in RD but this one is the most natural looking right off the bat my game looks better it complements with the csp setting I have, I average like 130+ fps with this filter.
nice!
Yes, much better now without automatic exposure adaptation for the eyes. At least to my eyes. It has all the those nice effects, glares etc. and keeps a well balance lighting.
In a conversation with Peter in discord asking him about this, it goes back and forth while you have all these different dynamic ranges in a track. While it is bright outside the car, the inside is very dark. Our eyes in real life can adapt way better because they can receive way, way more dynamic range. And he is absolutely right. But beyond that, as Peter Boese told me this dynamic range problem could be solved with a much brighter cockpit lighting, that is specifically set in the car's light config, but from the other hand that could lead to an artificial look, like older sims. Or, you can compensate this mostly with gamma because it boost the lower tones more, than the higher tones. But with the price of loosing contrast. Again, Peter is right. I guess finding the perfect balance isn't an easy case here. But sometimes automatic exposure adaptation gives me the impression of breaking a little bit the immersion.
very good filter! one of my favorites! one question..How can you put the glare controller option in another filter? i liked tries on anothers filters and script.. thank you for you awesome work!

Thanks, yes you can easily put the glare controller into another filters script. For example open any lua file from my mod. Find the lines with the names of the options you need and look with what variables they are used.
Amazing filter; works really well in any lighting conditions, better than most of the other big ones i've tried in fact (C13, RealityFilter, NMod, Natural Mod, 21Real, Exquisite, SNWreal...). Not sure how the others do it, but yours seems to have FAR less noise in night-time conditions.

Great work, keep it up!
Very good job! Nice exterior brightness, nice color tones and not undersaturated. The only thing that i don't like is the automatic exposure adaptation. While it keep nice exterior brightness it get too dark in the interior sometimes. If you balance this it will be my favorite pp filter.

Yes you are right about the auto exposure problem.
I'm currently testing an update where autoexposure is disabled. So far I like everything, but unfortunately for some too bright tracks the exposure will not decrease automatically, and overexposures are possible there. For such tracks, a special script is needed, but I don't know how to automate this
I think I will release an update without autoexposure, since in most cases it works better, and the problem of bright tracks can be solved simply by adjusting the exposure manually
