The original PIT indicator was very unrealistic.
Here is a replacement:
Make a backup copy of
Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\objects3D\pit_indicator.kn5
an then replace it.
It is also possible to delete the file completely without replacement. But then you will see no Indicator at all.
