RSS FH 2020 - F1 2020 COVID19 Short Season 1.8F

Hi Simracers and F1 fans

With the Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandamic still impacting the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship - I have created a 'Covid-19 Short Season Championship in line with the Final schedule (25/08/2020) featuring all the 2020 teams, drivers and tracks.

I will also update if or when any revised schedule becomes available

I will be adding Rainfx to all the tracks over time as well. So, if you have the Patreon version of Custom Shaders Patch by Ilya along with my weather plans for SOL it will make for a more immersive race weekend

Footnote: I tried it with original Assetto Corsa launcher/custom championships and it worked ok.

Install Video Guide

I set the championship up as a Novice level for myself and family to enjoy on each race weekend. Its aimed at Arcade racing type of affair to prevents family squabbles (oh - Yes they do happen!) and be fair to all racers in the family.

It is initially set at Novice level utilising a full grid (2020 livery to date) with each venue having a 5 min Practice, 10 min Qualification and a 5 lap race - all of which can be adjusted to suit your preferences and progression

All the tracks can be found using Racedepartment or a google search. (I cannot link to these as per RaceDepartment 'Rules of Use')

ONCE YOUVE DOWNLOADED THE FILES FROM MY G DRIVE
Drag the 'content' folder into your Assetto Corsa root folder It includes all the tracks and the skins but no car

Drag the champs folder into: Your PC > documents > assetto corsa folder (When you run Assetto Corsa or Content Manager you will find it under championships 'F1 2020 COVID19 SEASON'

Drag the screens Folder into: Your PC > documents > assetto corsa folder (Provides background pix for each race)

If you already have another 2020 F1 mod car (say ACFL 2020) it can be easily swapped in the settings or you can use my other ACFL 2020 championship which can be found here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/acfl-2020-f1-championship-v1-0.31669/

Using either Assetto Corsa settings or what I found to be easier - 'Content Manager' - all the parameters are adjustable (See included screenshots using content manager)

However, I do recommend paying for the full version to support its development and to get the full potential.
