The Prius was launched by Toyota in 1997 as the world's first mass-produced hybrid vehicle. It was also included in the PlayStation game Gran Turismo 2, but there were almost no tuning parts available in the game, and it was a slow car with no practical use at all.

However, it is known that the game's internal data contains a menu that modifies the Prius to racing specifications, a so-called "racing modification." This is missing content that cannot be seen in normal gameplay, but it looks like a touring car with a huge rear wing like the Ford Escort RS Cosworth or the Mazdaspeed version of the Mazda Lantis.

Its strange and mysterious presence has been recreated with Assetto Corsa. While the specs were based on the super touring regulations of the time, it was equipped with a racing hybrid system. Let's challenge the world's touring cars with a fantastic machine.

First of all thx for sharing this,
and forget about those neg comments about your steering and camber angle, seems like they are thinking a touring car setup like this will have the same steering lock as any road cars. and trying to use this car to run togue.
Cant wait to see more mods from you.
If you're gonna reuse the PM3DM Primera data, at least fix the ****ing fuel issue, man. Also the tires are a joke, they barely last 15 minutes. 180 degrees of steering is also a joke, even at normal tracks that's awful, mate. You can barely make La Source on Spa like this, as an example.
This car has some serious issues. The wheel only turns around 180deg, so if you're racing on anything with a hairpin, that's the end of your race. The camber settings are all jacked up so the most positive camber you can run is -4deg. This needs a bit of smoothing over but as is, this is pretty bad.

The reason why the wheels only rotate 180 degrees is because I simulated the situation where the tires would physically interfere with the fenders. The reason for the large camber angle is to avoid interference with the fender. This car is intended to be run on a regular permanent circuit, so if the race ends without being able to turn the hairpin, consider that you entered the wrong race in the first place. Of course, I think there is room to consider the option of securing a turning angle by increasing the fender arch.
absolutely amazing. would there be a stock variant to complement this as well?
