AMS2 1 Hour of Daytona, Stockcar 99, Tuesday21st November 2023

This Tuesday we go long, with a 1 hour race into the night and lights of the Daytona Nascar Roadcourse in the 1999 Omega Stockcar. A straight six, a five speed box and a couple of dashboard dials are all you need in this bare bones old-school racer and, as such, it is as close to an old-timey Nascar racer as AMS2 allows. Server will be up all week with AI to practice.

Whether you are a rookie racer or a seasoned veteran our casual club races are for everyone and every skill level. We combine fun events with discord chatter and a warm welcome to all our premium members.

Sign me up. Any ideas on the setup? Seems this car is missing the 6th gear for this circuit. Maybe disable the rev limiter?

Hi Kees, added. yeah, it's only got 5 speeds and you only use a part of the banking so regular setup applies rather than an oval one. Not much to change in the setup of these cars anyway.

Well Guys that was FUN, only the five of us finishing within, what was it? 5 to 10 seconds on an hour race. That's not to bad! and at Daytona's oval you get the chance to chat a little so that's a + for this track. Thanks again and will see you next Tuesday!!!!
