1600 vs. 5600x @1440p x 3 (3080)

So was planing to upgrade my 1600 to a 5600x.

But all reviews i saw on YT there was no difference in 1% & avg FPS at 4K(8m pixels) with a 3080 on both cpus.

So at 1440p x 3 we are at 11m pixels.

So for a dedicated Sim Rig, this mean for triple screen Sim racers the CPU makes absolutely no difference and there's no point in upgrading from a 1600 to a 5600x...?!?
