2009 World Touring Car Championship

I hope the planes that carry all the WTCC gear around the globe add 10% biofuel as well. That would be a breakthrough.
I understand that the green concept is nice for publicity but motorsports are not the big poluters in the world: industry and airplanes are, and they dont give a damn about changes to green

As seen on fiawtcc.com and http://racedepartment.com/wtcc/189-...in-olak-to-drive-petrol-seat-in-fia-wtcc-2009-

Croatian youngster Marin Čolak will compete in the full season of the FIA World Touring Car Championship at the wheel of a petrol-powered SEAT León car run by the Čolak Racing Team.
The 24-year old from Zagreb is not a new face in the WTCC paddock; last year he was a regular competitor in the SEAT León Eurocup and, following his victory in the Brands Hatch round, he was awarded with the participation in the WTCC event at Oschersleben. Driving a SUNRED-run León, Čolak put in a consistent performance finishing the first race in 13th position overall and third in the Independents’ Trophy. At the end of the season he classified second in the SEAT Eurocup with two race wins.
After the Briton Tom Boardman, Čolak is the second driver coming from the SEAT Eurocup who has decided to step up to the WTCC.
