2012 HRT F112

In 2011, they only beat them because Karthikeyan went kamikaze on Glock in Canada, letting Liuzzi through. For the teams that finish the season with zero points, a good car is less important than luck...

These teams are pointless imo. They just dont have enough money or resources to be a decent F1 team.
Then they should question themself if they need to be there in the paddock and are a asset to F1.

Keke Rosberg said it good some days ago.

“You have to start somewhere; you can’t come along and be Ferrari. And there is a need for the small teams, otherwise you would just have McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull. You need the top teams, the midfield teams and the small teams. Hopefully one day they can develop into a big team — remember Stewart became Jaguar and finally Red Bull.”

For me i thing there is nothing wrong the the smaller teams it is good for the sport, but what i want for them is not to be blocking the front runners in qualifying and race's if its not necessary.

That is some crazy spending!

This is the 2011 version

Ferrari: $166.3m
Mercedes: $137.6m
McLaren: $137.2m
Red Bull: $132.3m
Renault: $102.3m
Williams: $79.6m
Force India: $77.1m
Toro Rosso: $67.4m
Team Lotus: $60.6m
Virgin Racing: $41.1m
Hispania: $32.5m
Total: $1034.3m

Good to see that F1's cost-saving measures have worked in the past 3-4 years.
