Turns 16 & 17 (Casino Triangle)
This section is easy to cut as the SuperV8 rides the curbs very smoothly. Please ensure that you are not attacking the curbs to the point that you cut the track. Below is an example of acceptable car placement.

@Chris Stacey just a heads up. The GMT times are likely to confuse some people as in the UK and probably some other parts of Europe we got to daylight saving tomorrow. Meaning all times in the UK are an hour forward of GMT.

Might be worth people checking their own DST dates and times to get ahead of it and warning that the DST times will affect what time people expect to be turning up in the opening post.

Ah thanks for the heads up mate, I'm not aware of the European DST stuff, so I'll get that sorted :)

Man, i hate those modern tracks with those large curbs and runoff arreas. Dont cut here, dont cut there... last race in montreal i was more concerned of not cutting the track accidentally than of making an actual mistake.

Totaly agree, I was going so slow through the last cicain at Montreal because I was worried about penalties.

  • Name: Tobias Röhner
  • Round Number: 3
  • Reason: Gig with the band that evening. It wasn't really planned in advance, sorry I couldn't account for it earlier...

Thats why I like tracks like Montreal historic, massive high curbs that require some respect, feels great when you get it right. Must be the risk vs reward factor...

At one point when the championship was being rescheduled there was mention of a day/night cycle, I haven't heard anything else though, so am I correct in assuming that the race will be a regular daytime race?

  • Name: Andrew Harper
  • Round Number: Round 3 - Suzuka
  • Reason: Sorry, I know this is less than 24 hours. Caught this dreaded cold that's going around last night and I just can't stop coughing.
Good luck to the rest of the entrants and hope they have a good race.
